1. Overview
At CoResume, we want you to be satisfied with our service. This refund policy explains when and how you can request a refund for your subscription.
2. 7-Day Limited Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day refund policy for first-time subscribers, subject to the following conditions:
- Time Limit: Refund request must be made within 7 days of subscription purchase
- Usage Limits: You must have used fewer than 20 AI calls during this period
- Content Creation: No more than 2 resumes created and no PDF exports completed
- First-time Users Only: This policy applies only to your first subscription with CoResume
- Active Subscription: Your subscription must be cancelled before requesting a refund
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Usage exceeding the limits specified above (20+ AI calls, 3+ resumes, or any PDF exports)
- Requests made more than 7 days after the billing date
- Change of mind after actively using the service beyond the usage limits
- Violation of our Terms of Service resulting in account termination
- Partial refunds for unused portions of monthly subscriptions
- Second or subsequent subscriptions (returning customers)
- Accounts that have been used for commercial purposes beyond personal use
4. Annual Subscription Refunds
For annual subscriptions, additional conditions apply:
- Full refund available within 7 days if usage is below the specified limits
- Prorated refunds may be considered for technical issues lasting more than 7 consecutive days
- No refunds after 30 days of the subscription period, regardless of usage
- Annual subscribers who exceed usage limits within the first 7 days forfeit refund eligibility
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you must:
- Cancel your subscription first through your account settings
- Contact our support team at zhang.jingyuan@hotmail.com within 7 days
- Include your account email, subscription details, and reason for refund
- Provide confirmation that you meet the usage limits specified above
Important: Refunds are not automatic. You must actively request a refund and meet all eligibility criteria. We reserve the right to verify usage data before processing any refund.
6. Refund Processing
Once your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
- Your access to premium features will be revoked immediately upon refund approval
- All created content and AI-generated resumes will be permanently deleted
7. Fair Use Policy
Our refund policy is designed to allow you to evaluate our service fairly while preventing abuse. We monitor usage patterns and reserve the right to deny refunds if we detect:
- Patterns of subscribing, using extensively, and requesting refunds
- Creating multiple accounts to exploit the first-time user policy
- Using the service for commercial purposes under personal accounts
- Attempts to circumvent usage tracking or limits
8. Technical Issues Exception
If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service:
- Report the issue within 48 hours of occurrence
- Allow us 72 hours to resolve the problem
- If unresolved after 72 hours, you may be eligible for a refund regardless of usage
- Technical issues must be documented and verifiable
9. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not automatically qualify you for a refund unless you meet the conditions outlined above.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- You may request a review by escalating to our management team
- Provide additional evidence supporting your refund request
- Final decisions will be made within 5 business days of escalation
- Our decision on refund eligibility is final
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy. Changes do not apply retroactively to existing subscriptions.
